Our Veterinary Team

Nikki
Vicki

Practice Manager

With over 30 years in the veterinary industry, Vicki Deitz brings decades of dedication, experience, and heart to Northlake Animal Hospital. Inspired from a young age to improve the lives of animals, Vicki entered the field with a clear “why”—to make a meaningful difference for pets and the people who love them. She takes great pride in educating both clients and her team, believing that knowledge is essential to a pet’s long-term health and well-being.

At home, Vicki’s love for animals continues with her two dogs: Trixie, a Pitbull, and Skye, a Catahoula Leopard Hound, as well as her African Grey parrot, Hurley.

Outside of the hospital, Vicki is happiest outdoors, whether she’s visiting local farmers markets, biking through beautiful parks, or enjoying a day of saltwater fishing. She also has a deep appreciation for the arts and loves evenings spent at live theater, operas, and concerts. And from August through February, you can count on her cheering loudly for her favorite team, the Miami Dolphins.

Esther
Ashlee
Certified Veterinary Technician

Ashlee has seven years of experience in the veterinary field. She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) program and is passionate about continuing to grow her knowledge and skills to better serve her patients.

She prides herself on being a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. Her approach to patient care is rooted in compassion, empathy, and understanding values that are especially meaningful to her, as she brings personal insight from navigating medical needs of her own. This perspective allows her to connect deeply with both patients and their families, ensuring every pet receives thoughtful and individualized care.

At home, Ashlee shares her life with five beloved pets. From oldest to youngest, they include Copper, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel; Dixie, a mixed-breed rescue; Sage, an epileptic Pit Bull; and two cats, Basil and Roschach.

Outside of work, Ashlee enjoys spending time outdoors and embracing adventure. Her favorite activities include hiking, boating, kayaking, horseback riding, trips to the beach, crafting, and exploring local farmers markets.

Esther

Patient Care Advocate

Esther was born in North Carolina but has lived in Florida for most of her life. She’s worked in the veterinary industry for over 17 years and has been a valued member of Northlake Animal Hospital for ten years, where she has the role of Patient Care Advocate.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, which includes her husband of 30 years, their identical twin daughters, and four grandchildren! She is the proud owner of a “golden child” named Bugs (a cocker spaniel) and a frisky feline named Cow.

Kasi
Kasi
Kasi is a true Florida native and has never lived outside Palm Beach County other than when she went to college in Dade City, FL. Animals have always been her passion since she was small. She has worked with animals for the past eight years. Her pack consists of 3 dogs (Gin, Daisy, and Zeke), a veiled chameleon (Yoshi), two turtles (Raphael and Michelangelo), a parakeet (Sweet Pea), and a few aquariums. Although she tries not to have favorites, “bully” breeds hold a special place in her heart.

When she isn’t at the office, you can find her playing with the pack, spending time with her family, carpentry, crafting, and baking.
